Frequently Asked Questions — MOQ, Pricing, Sampling & Lead Times

  • Q Can you help with fabric and trim sourcing?

    A

Yes. Our development and sourcing team works from a qualified mill and trim supplier base, including GRS-certified recycled fabrics. If you have a nominated supplier we will work to it. If you do not, we propose two or three options with the trade-offs spelled out - handfeel, stretch and recovery, shrinkage, and cost - and send physical swatches for approval before anything is ordered.

  • Q What quality control do you run?

    A

QC is staged across the whole order, not inspected in at the end: incoming inspection on every roll of fabric, in-line checks during sewing, and a final inspection at AQL 2.5 before packing, with needle detection on all finished garments. You receive the inspection report before shipment. Third-party inspection by SGS or BV can be arranged at any stage, at your request.

  • Q Which certifications and audits do you hold?

    A

ISO 9001:2015 for quality management, BSCI and SMETA/Sedex for social and ethical compliance, GRS (Global Recycled Standard) for recycled fabric programmes, and a TUeV Rheinland verified factory audit. Current certificate copies and the audit report are available on request - we would rather you verify them than take our word for it.

  • Q Can you meet EU and US product regulations?

    A

Yes. Our products are produced to meet REACH and CPSIA requirements, and compliance documentation can be issued alongside your shipment. Because the exact requirements differ by market and by product category - and are revised regularly - send us your destination market and product type and we will confirm in writing which standards apply and which documentation we will supply.

  • Q How do you control fabric and trim substitutions?

    A

No substitution happens without your written approval. If a nominated fabric becomes unavailable, or a mill lot falls outside tolerance, we stop, send you the alternative with its test data and a physical swatch, and wait for your decision. Unapproved substitution is the most common way a good design ships as a bad product, so we treat it as the one non-negotiable rule in the factory.

  • Q What production and delivery lead times should I plan for?

    A

Sample lead time: 7-14 days. Bulk production, custom orders: 30-45 days after sample approval and deposit receipt. Repeat orders on approved styles: typically 20-30 days. Samples by express: 3-7 days door to door. Bulk by sea: transit typically 25-35 days depending on destination port. Bulk by air: transit typically 5-10 days. Confirmed lead times are stated in writing on the order confirmation. Actual timing depends on order size, fabric availability, and how much customisation is involved - we will tell you which of those is the constraint on your order rather than give you a single optimistic number.

  • Q What payment terms do you accept?

    A

Standard terms are T/T with a 30% deposit and the balance before shipment. Sight L/C is accepted. Sample orders can be paid by PayPal. Other terms are negotiable for established partners with an order history - we would rather discuss terms than lose a long-term relationship over them.

  • Q Which shipping methods and Incoterms do you use?

    A

FOB is our default. EXW, CIF, and DDP are available on request. Samples move by DHL, UPS, or FedEx. Bulk orders ship by sea or by air, and we can coordinate with your freight forwarder or consolidate with your other suppliers if that is how you buy. We will recommend the cheapest option that still meets your in-store date, not the one that is easiest for us.

  • Q What documentation do you provide?

    A

Standard export documentation: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or airway bill, certificate of origin, and the final inspection report - plus compliance certificates (REACH, CPSIA, and GRS where applicable) and any additional document your customs broker requires. If your country needs documentation in a specific format, tell us at order confirmation and we will prepare it that way rather than after the fact.

  • Q What happens if goods arrive with a manufacturing defect?

    A

Confirmed manufacturing defects are resolved by free replacement or by credit note, at your choice. Report the issue with photographs and quantities within 30 days of receipt; we investigate, come back with a written root-cause note, and settle. These terms are written into the sales contract rather than left to goodwill.
