This womens denim shirt dress is woven from 100% cotton denim in a mid weight, with a visible slub texture and a deep indigo blue that reads vintage from the first wear. Because it is cotton without elastane, the fabric holds its shape instead of bagging out through the day, and the loose cut and dropped shoulder do the work of keeping it easy to move in.

Two flap chest pockets and two hip flap pockets with metal buttons carry the workwear look and stay flat against the body. The pointed shirt collar holds its shape, and the long sleeves finish with buttoned cuffs. The full front button placket lets you wear it closed as a dress or open as a long outer layer over a tee and trousers. At the waist, the included brown belt with a metal buckle threads through the loops to define the waistline; without it the dress falls straight and easy.

Below the dropped waist the skirt is built in three tiers, so the hem swings and holds volume from the front and the back. The midi to maxi length sits below the calf and works with boots in autumn. A commute friendly silhouette that also covers weekend wear, in sizes XS to L.
